Letters from Russetmoor: Half a Year

Letters 1 to 12, paid once. Six months of mail from a school where it is always autumn.

Eliza Darrow is a first-year at Russetmoor, and every first-year must write to a stranger. You are hers. She'll tell you what she can't tell anyone at school, because you are the one person who can never answer.

Half a Year carries you through her first term and into the second, up to Hollow Night, when each first-year's lantern is hung on the old Hollow Tree by the lake and lights by itself. It's the middle of the story, and it ends on the kind of letter you'll read twice.

What you get

• 12 envelopes, around the 1st and 15th of each month
• Her letters, the keepsakes she tucks in, and the Almanac slips with the Office's seal for every week
• In your first envelope: a welcome letter from the Keeper's Office, the map of the valley, and her autumn leaf seal

• Paid once. Never renews.

Read her first two letters. If she isn't for you, tell us within 30 days of the second one being mailed, and we'll refund you in full. The letters are yours to keep.

If a letter hasn't arrived ten days after its mail date, we mail it again, free.

Letters from Russetmoor is a work of fiction, printed and packed by hand in Pocatello, Idaho. It is one-way mail: no real person is waiting on a reply. US addresses only.
