Gift: A Year of Letters from Russetmoor
Give her a secret to keep.
Twice a month for a whole year, a cream envelope will arrive at her door from a school where it is always autumn, addressed to her as Eliza's Keeper. A first-year named Eliza will tell her everything: the friends, the rivals, the magic, the danger, and the things she hasn't told anyone else. She can never write back. That's the whole charm of it.
It's a gift that keeps arriving long after the wrapping paper is gone.
How the gift works
- Choose when it starts: with the next mailing, or the one after. Envelopes go out around the 1st and 15th of each month.
- Put her address as the shipping address at checkout, and your own email so the receipt comes to you.
- Write your gift message in the order note. We'll tuck it into her first envelope.
- Make and print the gift card, fold it, and wrap it. You can print it the moment you order, so it's never too late for a card to give.
Order at least three days before a mailing to make it. Cutting it close? Print the card tonight, and her letters begin with the next mailing.
Safe to give
- Paid once. It never renews, and she never needs an account or a card on file.
- Nothing in the mail shows the price.
- If a letter hasn't arrived ten days after its mail date, we mail it again, free.
What she gets
- 24 envelopes over one year: Eliza's letters, the keepsakes she tucks in, the Almanac slips, a folded map of the valley, and 29 stickers, from the Office's seal for every week to her own leaf seal
- Postage inside the US included
For the friend who keeps letters in a box, the sister who reads in the bath, the mother who misses real mail. Adults and older teens: a slow story with secrets in it, a romance kept to a kiss, and real loss.
