Letters from Russetmoor is a story told in real letters, mailed to your door twice a month for a year. There's no app, no screen and nothing to log in to. Just a cream envelope in your mailbox, a cup of something warm, and a girl at a school where it is always autumn telling you what happened since she last wrote.
1. You become her Keeper
Every first-year at Russetmoor must write to a stranger in the outside world. When you join, the school's Keeper's Office places a first-year in your keeping. Her name is Eliza Darrow. She doesn't know your name, and she never will. That's exactly why she tells you the truth.
2. Your first envelope arrives
It comes with the next mailing after you join. Inside you'll find:
- A Start Here card
- A welcome letter from the Keeper's Office, with the three rules of keeping
- Eliza's first letter, four pages printed in her handwriting
- A folded map of the valley, with her pencil arrow showing her window
- The first Almanac slip, with the first of the Office's round seal stickers
- Her autumn leaf seal sticker, sent "so you know I'm real"
3. Then, twice a month, she writes
Around the 1st and the 15th, a new envelope leaves Pocatello, Idaho. Each one holds her letter, usually something she has tucked in with it (a note, a list, a recipe card, a drawing from home), the school's Almanac slip with its weather and news, and the Office's seal for the week: a round sticker, one in every envelope. Four more times in the year, she sends a sticker of her own.
Each letter has its own small ending, and most end on a question you'll be waiting two weeks to have answered.
4. You keep everything
By the end of the year you'll have 24 envelopes, 96 pieces of paper and 29 stickers: a bundle worth tying with string and keeping in a box, the way people used to keep letters. Keep them in order. You may want to go back through them one day.

Read. Every word.
Keep. The letters, and everything she tucks in.
Do not reply. She can tell you anything, because you can't answer.
Choose how long to be her Keeper
- Monthly, $15 a month. Two letters a month. Cancel any time.
- Half a Year, $84 once. Letters 1 to 12, ending on Hollow Night.
- The Full Year, $156 once. All 24 envelopes. The best price per letter.
- The First Envelope, $9. Just the first mailing, to hold in your hands. Choose a plan within 30 days of it being mailed, and we'll refund the $9.
Postage inside the US is always included, everyone begins at Letter 1, and if she isn't for you after two letters, we'll refund you in full.
